Free School Meal Provision during School Closure for Covid-19 Pandemic

(Updated 24th March 2020 17.20pm)

All parents of pupils eligible for free school meals should now have received a text or email from our partners, Wonde with voucher details to cover the cost of free school meals. The voucher supplied will cover you until the end of term. If for any reason you believe you should have received a voucher and haven't, please contact the school by email only on finance.impact@schools.sefton.gov.uk and we will look into this for you.

( It would be useful if you could include your mobile phone number, name of your child and their date of birth in your email )

(Updated 25th March 2020 11.25am)

Its lovely to see so many of you selecting your chosen supermarkets to get your FSM vouchers. Please bear with us! Thousands of schools up and down the country are having to do exactly the same job issuing food vouchers and 'Wonde' are also coping with a level of reduced staffing as they cope with the pandemic within their own organisation.

'Wonde' assure me that vouchers will be issued within the next 24 hours.

(Updated 26th March 2020 8.25am)

During these unprecedented times, we are working as hard and quickly as we can to keep you updated and get the vouchers for Free School Meals out to you. As you can imagine, free school meal voucher websites (as well as online supermarket websites!) are experiencing very high levels of traffic. We have been working with our online FSM voucher provider since 6.00am to get these vouchers organised.

There is still a small number of parents who haven't completed stage one of selecting a supermarket, please ensure this is completed as soon as possible to avoid unnecessary delays in getting your vouchers issued.

This webpage will be updated once we have further information on when parents can expect their voucher to be sent.

Updated 26th March 2020 10.40am

Wonde have confirmed that parents who have selected TESCO and MORRISONS should receive their vouchers today.

Parents who have selected ASDA or SAINSBURYS should receive their vouchers tomorrow.

The delay in issuing these is nether a fault of the school or Wonde and we know the supermarkets are working hard with us to make this system work.

If anyone who had already chosen their supermarket by 12 noon on Wednesday 25th March still hasn't received their vouchers in line with the timescales above, please email finance.impact@schools.sefton.gov.uk

Anyone selecting their chosen supermarket after 12 noon on Wednesday 25th March may be waiting a further 24 hours on top of the timescales detailed above due to the demand on the system across the country

Updated 30th March 2020 3.35pm

All vouchers (except those requested in the last 24 hours) have all now been issued.

Any new vouchers should be issued within 24 hours of you initially selecting the supermarket of your choice.

Thanks for bearing with us whilst our supplier Wonde worked to get these out to you,
