We provide free school meals for all eligible pupils as well as an option for parents to purchase meals should their child not be eligible.
After requests from our School Council members and due to the size of the school, our food menu has been updated and we offer one main meal each day (with a vegetarian option if required) for all pupils.
Meals cost £2.45 per pupil per day and payment for meals must be made to the school office in advance. Please find below our menu, which spans a three week cycle.
If your child is not eligible for a free meal and does not want the food option available, please ensure they are sent to school with a packed lunch as pupils are not able to leave the school grounds during lunchtime.
Changes for the provision of food at our alternative provision sites is also on the way. If your child is eligible for a free school meal, these will continue to be provided, all other pupils will need to pay for the meal or bring their own lunch when they attend off site provision.
All our meal provision complies with the Food Standards Guidance as set by the Department for Education. Further guidance and information can be found here https://www.gov.uk/school-meals-healthy-eating-standards
