Written reports are sent home annually containing information about the child’s progress and future targets. Parents/Carers are also offered the opportunity to come to IMPACT and it’s partner agencies to talk to staff about pupil progress as well as at Parent’s evenings for pupils in Year 10 and Year11.
Positive Postcards/Phone calls are sent home when a child does particularly well in some aspects of school life. The teachers use these to praise academic and behaviour achievements and staff will also contact parents by telephone.
Letters home and meetings with the Head Teacher and Deputy Head Teacher will address more serious concerns or provide opportunities for parents/carers to discuss sensitive issues.
Parents should be aware that school will take reasonable action to ensure the safety of it’s stunts. \in cases were school have reason to be concerned that a child may be subject to ill-treatment, neglect or other forms of abuse staff have no alternative but to follow Sefton Child Protection Procedures and inform Social Services of their concerns.
