Reintegration at the ARC

Our aim is to assess the young people over an initial six week period and to then recommend a supported reintegration pathway most suited to the individual pupils needs. Thus allowing pupils to fulfil their potential and become successful learners.
Return to mainstream is always the most preferred outcome either to the host school or a managed transfer to a new mainstream school, other options include Specialist Provision after consultation with Educational Psychologist and the SEN Team or Alternative Provision at IMPACT which provides a mixture of both vocational and academic experiences.
The Reintegration Officer will liaise with pupils, parents and schools to ensure positive outcomes during the transitional period, they will initiate the In Year Fair Access process and follow up placements by attending regular review meetings to offer support to both pupils and the schools until such time the pupil is taken on role
